The Sky High Angels® Rodeo Drill Team is a sisterhood of talented horsewomen delivering precise, fast paced performances to the Sport of Rodeo, adding pageantry and patriotism. We are actively involved in the community and are role models for our youth to look up to.
The Sky High Angels® Rodeo Drill Team was founded in March 2005. The team consists of a director, and 12 performance riders along with many alternate riders. With the theme of American Pride, the cowgirls wear western patriotic costumes and perform their routines to upbeat music. We were originally put together to post sponsor flags at the IPRA sanctioned Madison County Rodeo, however, after we started practicing, we had a lot of other horse event sponsors see us and ask us to perform at their shows/rodeos/parades. Our goal is to structure a drill team that will stand the test of time. The little girls in the stands watching us perform will have their dreams fulfilled when they too will have the opportunity to become one of the sisters of the Sky High Angels® Rodeo Drill Team.
